Resources for the Community

We know firsthand the personal and family devastation that can be caused by anorexia, bulimia, and binge eating disorder. That's why The Renfrew Center Foundation is committed to raising awareness about eating disorders and educating individuals who are suffering, as well as their friends and family members. We believe that knowledge is power and we know that recovery is possible—we see it every day!

Please review the events, services, and publications we provide for the community:

  • View and download printable educational materials created by The Renfrew Center Foundation. This includes our recommended list of books and resources on eating disorders and support for individuals, families, and friends.  For other literature, please call 1-800-RENFREW.
  • The Renfrew Center Foundation Speaker's Bureau: As part of our educational and prevention efforts, The Renfrew Center Foundation has developed a Speaker's Bureau comprised of Renfrew professionals, Renfrew alumni, and friends and family members who wish to share their experiences of recovery. Involvement in the Speaker's Bureau can be an important stepping stone in the process of finding one's voice and reclaiming one's life from the destructive elements of an eating disorder. Schools, colleges, corporations, houses of worship, and other groups interested in scheduling a speaker may contact us for more information. To find out more about the Speaker's Bureau click here.
  • Take our interactive quiz "Do I Respect My Body?" to assess your perception of your body.
